Rumor has it: the mystery promo and new games of the first year will be Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Giving away a full trilogy would be quite the move to end the year and begin the new one with. Nonetheless, there’s a couple of days until then, and fans now have a new game that they can claim on December 28 (lasting until December 29 at 10 AM CT). That game is Moving Out.

Epic Games Store Free Mystery Game Today: Moving Out
Moving Out is an over-the-top physics game where players, as Movers, must load household furniture and appliances such as couches and refrigerators into moving trucks. It’s a fun couch co-op game that many may truly enjoy. It’s not as intense as a game like Control (also given away via Epic Games Store), but it’s a good one when players are looking for something more relaxing. Moving Out has received generally positive reviews since launch, with many comparing its graphic style and other aspects to the Overcooked! franchise.
Obstacles, heavy objects, throwables, and speed all add a ton of fun gameplay factors to the game, where players can earn bronze, silver, or gold ranks based on the speed of their packing. Furthermore, there is an Assist Mode feature that reduces the difficulty and a game mode to unpack the items from a moving truck. For those who check out Moving Out and find they enjoy it, there’s a Movers in Paradise DLC that adds 14 new levels to the game, and it also adds new characters and items.
Overall, it’s been a pretty good ride on the Epic Games Store promo so far. Beginning with Shenmue 3, delivering major titles like Prey and Control, and having smaller, more explorative titles like Moving Out and Loop Hero (one of the best RPGs of the year), and so on really shows that the EGS is all about that holiday life.
